[OOC] "Character Survey of Doom"
[clone] Joseph Goebbels is my friend's awesome OC, btw.
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
He's pretty tiny! He looks about fifteen though so he might have time to grow~ He's thin.
2. How old is he?
Fifteenish? He looks eight.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He's the type to always sit with his back straight, but only because I think his teachers have been hard on him simply because of his original and he doesn't want to get in trouble. It's not a habit. He does buckle a little when he gets shy or flustered, though.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Physically he's really healthy! He might be scrawny and he's probably no good in gym class, but his diet is super healthy (being that he's a vegetarian who makes sure to eat his proteins and other things he misses out on by not eating meat) and he doesn't just sit around.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He's very tense. He fidgets and worries constantly, unless he's giving a speech. Even if he doesn't like it, he can debate like no other about topics that he thinks are important. He moves crowds of people every year at the expo.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He's a scrawny fifteen year old boy, so he's cute... But I think he has so many self confidence issues that his image would be one of them. He's terrified of growing facial hair.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He has very light skin, and it's almost perfect all the time. Of course he gets acne like everyone else but he'd never pop a pimple he'd put healing stuff on it and let it go away by itself.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
It short and brown and straight and he can't do anything with it. He's jealous of Napoleon's hair.
9. What color are his eyes?
Violet! Apparently, though there's been different manga colorings...
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He's almost always smiling. Even when he's menacing (which is very seldom,) he's smiling. A sad sort of smile that hides so so much beneath it. A Mona Lisa smile.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
He's constantly worrying so the tension in his chest will never stop, not even when he sleeps. He keeps himself up at night worrying about everything but himself and his heart beats faster and faster. He gets stomach aches very easily because of this.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
He is a hipster. Cardigans everywhere. No, really. He likes to look neat, though, so even if it's casual he always looks nice. He'd never want to seem sloppy and make people think even worse of him.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
They're a little short, sometimes, whether it be for style or because he's a boy and still having growth spurts.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He wears a uniform to school, of course, but in his free time he's dressed much differently.

Breifs or boxer briefs.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
He talks quietly, and only when he has something important to say or wants to politely continue a conversation before the other person stops talking and leaves. When he's speaking to a crowd, he can get their attention without a lot of volume. His voice still cracks sometimes and it embarrasses him.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Soft and evenly, with plenty of time to think in between to make sure he won't offend anyone.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He learned German before English, so he can easily have that sort of accent but his English is also exquisite. He's been trained by speech coaches since he was young, especially hard because when he was a very young child he wouldn't talk to anyone because people had never talked to him. If his grammar is messy when he speaks he feels like he's going to get yelled at and he mentally corrects other people's grammar when they speak but would never say anything about it out loud.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
German, along with English.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
He andhis beau Goebbels speak German sometimes. In classes it's needed he'd speak German. He also writes all his notes in the language because he's most comfortable with it. He's not as paranoid about it being perfect like he is with English.

When it's something that he truly cares about, or he's sticking up for someone he's brilliant with words. He would have the highest speaking grades in communications class if he didn't bomb exams on purpose because he hates that he's like his original in this way. When one on one with someone, about something personal or otherwise, he gets tongue tied and flustered and worried that they're going to hate him.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
As stated above, he tries to be eloquent when he talks... but he's also a teenager. When excited, he talks like any other person would.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's very book smart, because he spends his time away from people. He'll take his books or his class notes outside and sit and read or study for hours because no one is going to come and look for him. He knows a lot of stupid facts and likes playing trivia games.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
When talking about something with someone personally, he takes a while to figure out what he should say. He hates writing notes for speeches in class though, because when he starts talking about his topic he'll just go on and on and forget what the outline was.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
When it comes to things like the Almighty Dolly, he's very idealistic and intuitive but that's because he has no other hope left. He's Hitler and if he can't escape his "fate" then there's nothing he can ever accomplish and it makes him want to kill himself.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
I'm guessing he's in 9-10th grade of high school? But it's a private school so he's had tutors and special classes and is probably more than a few years ahead.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Communications and geography/strategy/Dictator 101. He hates playing it, but in class if they "conquer" each other in a RISK sort of game, he and Napoleon always get first or second. If he wouldn't get zeros, he would always pick to be neutral. He's also interested in learning about animals and how to help people more than any of that, though. He doesn't think his specialized classes are good for anything.

Introvert over 9000.

He's melancholy and cheerful and full of hope and angry and upset and crushed and unhappy, and worried. Never in an "ADHD" sort of way. It's very subtle.

He's always happy to meet people, but he's very timid and very worried any time his name is brought up.

Concerning himself, he will react. Concerning others, he will act.

He has a very clean sense of humor. Perverted jokes go right over his head. He likes to laugh and puns make him giggle.

From the very moment that he was told, "you are the clone of Adolf Hitler," his life was defined. He's trying to break out of that.

He just wants to help people, despite his name. He wants to be able to inspire people, like his original, but in the completely opposite direction. He wants to show people that no matter what your situation you can move beyond it. Besides that, he'd love to become a painter, even if he doesn't think he's very good at it.

He's terrified of himself. He'd never want someone to worry about him, though, so he never shows it. It's all a mask.

Even if he doesn't think he deserves them, he's close to Shiro and Goebbels, even if Shirou is sort of flighty around him too. He's just happy to have him when he's there. He'd never bother him for anything, though. Goebbles is a lot closer, though, because he knows exactly how he is but stays with him anyway. He makes him happy.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
He doesn't really have one. At least, he wouldn't think of someone as one, because that would be a bother to them. Why should anyone be his friend? He still thinks this, even if he's in a relationship with anyone in an RP or has a lot of CR.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Pretty much the same as #4. Shiro and Goebbels.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He doesn't make friends because no one talks to him, and he doesn't want to bother anyone by talking to them.

As he's a clone, he would consider friends to be more important but only because he's never had the former. Everyone is important to him.

Single, canonly.Unless there is a clone Eva somewhere. And that would be bawwwww forever.

Depends on the RP, but yes. Goebbels and him are the hipster couple of St Kleio's okay.

He doesn't like anyone. Or rather, doesn't let himself like anyone. He refuses to let himself enjoy anything, especially that.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
He doesn't look for one. He doesn't think he deserves it.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He thinks children are cute but doesn't know if clones can even have kids, first off... but he would never want them because he'd be afraid that he wouldn't be able to raise them right.

Only himself.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Forced X, because he won't even allow those sorts of thoughts usually, but he'd like to think 6 because the Nazis hated homosexuals and if he's one then that's just another fuck you to his original. But, he's probably more of a 3-4.

It isn't something he thinks about at all, and never about another person. It feels wonderful but he just doesn't allow himself to think of those things.

you'd have to ask his boyfriend okay He really doesn't have any, because he has no experience.

In his eyes, not treating everyone with respect and equality is the worst thing a person can do. This isn't just because of his original, either, he hates seeing people hurting or put down for who they are or what they stand for. He wants to stand up for those people.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He gets really fired up about it. He would never be rude, but he can't see why you'd never treat someone different than you badly. It doesn't make any sense to him and he hates seeing people do it. Even in conversation, or even a joke, he'd tell the person in question that they weren't being nice and why.

The only person he will ever hate is his original and in the same vein, himself.

He has his own dorm. It's very neat and tidy and organized and he has one specific corner by the window for his paintings. The rest of it is very boring and bland in decoration.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
He doesn't use money.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's a student, but he'd rather just be a normal teenager like he sees on television. He wants to be in art school.

He paints and draws in his free time. Otherwise he studies or just takes walks. He plays tennis but not on the school teams, it's how he lets out his pent up emotions because he has no other way of doing it. He'll go down to the courts at night and slam the tennis ball against the wall until he can't move his arms anymore. It's the only time he cries.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?

He'll go down to the courts at night and slam the tennis ball against the wall until he can't move his arms anymore. It's the only time he cries.

He is a vegetarian. Even if his original was, he is because you have to hurt animals to get meat. He'll eat eggs and milk, though, he doesn't like solely vegan foods. Because of his original, the school accepts this, and his meals are planned like all the other students according to their original's tastes. He never eats much, yogurt and fruit or some granola, but he does get enough protein for his body to function. He knows that if he doesn't eat meat he could get sick without the minerals and such in it that his body needs. He isn't stupid about it and he'd never hate someone for not being a vegetarian. It's his choice alone and if someone else doesn't want to be the same way he doesn't mind at all.
He loves sweets.
